Birth Beginnings is a volunteer-run doula organization
operating in the Triangle Region, NC, and surrounding communities.
We aim to improve birth outcomes
and perinatal experience through accessible doula care.
A trained professional who provides continuous
physical, emotional, and informational support
throughout a person's perinatal journey
to help them achieve the healthiest,
most satisfying experience possible.
Doula:
We provide high-quality and accessible doula care to the Triangle Region and surrounding communities at an affordable rate, either through a sliding scale or sponsorships. All of our volunteers have been trained through DONA International or other doula-certifying organizations.
Our services are available to all who need them, regardless of insurance status. In particular, we strive to support those who are eligible for Medicaid and the Special Supplemental Nutrition Program for Women, Infants, and Children (WIC) program.

Mission
Vision
Birth Beginnings believes that no person should be denied the right to supportive care and that everyone should have access to a doula.
We pledge to support birthers through all aspects of their pregnancy with exceptional physical and emotional support. Additionally, BBDVS will never discriminate based on race, gender, class, religion, or nationality.
